Adam Lippes Pre-Fall 2025 Collection

Adam Lippes is currently experiencing a period of growth in his fashion empire. His Fifth Avenue salon-style store is revolutionizing luxury shopping, and he is expanding his presence with new boutiques in both the US and Japan. However, the evolution is not limited to just retail. In his latest pre-fall collection, Lippes is pushing boundaries by experimenting with innovative pattern-making techniques. Garments are being cut from unconventional shapes like circles, squares, and rectangles, injecting a touch of avant-garde sophistication into his elegant aesthetic, marking an exciting progression for the brand.

The inspiration for these new shapes stems from Lippes’ recent trip to Sicily, where the sweltering summer heat highlighted the appeal of loose, airy silhouettes that are not constricting on the body. The collection also emphasizes fabrics with a dry, crisp texture, such as the cotton organdy featured in a chic chocolate brown trench coat and a billowy honey-colored jacket, cinched at the waist in the accompanying lookbook. The collection showcases ruffled skirts with asymmetrical hemlines, creating a sense of lightness and movement that Lippes aimed to capture.

The striking floral print adorning a generously cut caftan draws inspiration from the lush rhododendron bushes of Sicily, while a diamond print motif, though not displayed in the lookbook, pays homage to the 18th-century Palazzo Castelluccio. Lippes also incorporates his redesigned logo into the designs, visible on an elegant evening dress embellished with a lattice of gold beads, exuding a glamorous allure. For those not bound for the island life, Lippes also introduces relaxed, baggy jeans crafted from Japanese denim. Looking ahead, Lippes has hinted at a major category launch in mid-2025, promising more exciting developments on the horizon for his brand.
